Blank Canvas

on July 5, 2016

After the heart has been broken,
After the body’s been bled,
drained, depleted,
A stray spark sets the husk afire.

White-hot flame incinerates,
destroys, ashifies
what remained when all was already gone,
liberaring secreted seed.

Deprived desired death
life insists:
Grow on.
